  1. 1. The Sony Xperia Z5 is Sony's newest handset that comes in three models all together: the Compact, the plain Z5, and the Z5 premium. All of these phones come with the same design, but have very different specifications in each model. For example, the Premium was the first phone display with a resolution of 4K. They each have a finger-print scanner located on the lock button, which is quite an interesting concept, to say the least.

    2. I believe that all new generation smartphones should have waterproofing, and to be frank, there's no excuse for a new phone in 2016 to not have water proofing. People make mistakes, and if you drop your phone in a puddle you shouldn't have to buy a whole new handset.

    3. On the Z5 my favorite feature would have to be design of the phone, I like the blocky shape of the phone, and I still appreciate the glass on glass design, no matter if it's easier to crack.

  2. 1. The Sony Xperia Z5 is a new phone from Sony that is water RESISTANT, not water proof, there is a difference. Sony seems to keep the design of the Z# series mostly the same, adding more features and removing features people didn't like. Kind of like Trial and error. But the Z5 has 3 options, one of the having a 1440p display which is said to be 4K with phones.
    2. Water PROOF phones would be awesome. Take them into the ocean and take pictures of ocean life while scuba diving near a reef. However, salt water is much more dangerous than fresh water and chlorinated water (such as in pools, hot tubs, etc.). But other than that, I feel having a waterPROOF phone is kind of unnecessary. I'm unsure how good a call's reception would be with a big mass of water between it and radio waves. Plus, waterproof cameras are a thing that take much better pictures than a phone.
    3. I like the design of the actual phone. I like how it's like a block and not this slippery super beveled design like iPhones, that slip out of my pocket way too easy.

  3. 1. The Xperia Z5 is a new camera phone made by Sony. It takes high quality pictures in a fraction of a second and is completely waterproof. Not to mention, it also has a fingerprint scanner.
    2. I think waterproof phone are incredibly useful. As a person who enjoys listening to rap music in the shower, I would absolutely love to have a waterproof phone.
    3. My favorite feature of the Z5 is the fingerprint scanner. It allows the user of the phone to always be able to unlock the phone and no one else be able to. This allows for the tightest security possible.

  4. 1) Sony Xperia Z5 is a new handset that has three models in total. There is the compact model, the plain model and lastly, the premium model. Each phone come with the same design but the specs for each type are different. Each phone also has a finger-print scanner, and the premium has a 4K screen.

    2) Waterproofing on phones is an absolutely great idea because it allows for water-based mistakes are both avoided and recoverable in that sense.

    3) My favorite component of the phone is the 4K screen that comes with the premium version and the design of it is very sleek and great looking.

  5. 1.) The Sony Xperia Z5 is a new phone by Sony. It's just like any other phone, except this one's got more features to it, and will probably be mimicked by other companies such as Apple, and Samsung.

2.) Waterproofs on phones are generally an excellent feature, but it came very, VERY late in our generation. It's been over 5 years before anyone decided to waterproof a phone instead of making it bigger and more battery life.

3.) The feature I like the most on that phone is the fact that it has a really good camera with a really good screen resolution as well. Along with a huge hard drive space can make it a really good camera if you don't want to buy a Canon.

  6. 1)These three phones are the newest line of Sony Entertainment phones. They all have similar designs but on the inside is what counts. The difference is between the capture quality, interface, and smaller features.
    2) I think a waterproof phone is a neat idea but is only good and useful in certain scenarios. the most common would be if it was raining hard.
    3) My favorite feature is still the waterproof and the camera quality so that it expands the uses and everything would come to ease with it

  7. 1. The Sony Xperia Z5 is the latest in the extensive (but relatively underground) list of smartphones created by Sony, creators of the legendary PlayStation. It has a quick camera capture time, and most crucially, is waterproof.
    2. Honestly, I don't really think one way or the other on the topic. Smartphones can become floating and be able to read minds, for all I care; but tell me that ASUS has developed a line of waterproof desktop parts, and I'll be all over that.
    3. From the images I've seen, it seems like the resolution isn't too terrible, and the bezel is pretty small. Design-wise, it's pretty sleek, pretty slick, I wouldn't mind getting one purely for the design aspect. Also, yeah, I know that proves my lack of knowledge with mobile phones--Brendan, Mitch, get over it.

  8. 1. The Xperia Z5 is Sony's newest smartphone in their line of mobile phones. It boasts many of the same capabilities as it's competitors, namely a similar camera and similar screen resolution, but boasts waterproof capabilities, as well as a sleek design.

    2. Waterproof capabilities could be useful for some people- maybe it'll save a phone or two in the long run from the toilet, or perhaps falling into a puddle, but I've never had a problem with water for my phone. For me, waterproofing wouldn't be worth the extra money.

    3. The Xperia Z5 has a nice design- the phone itself is a bit blocky, but looks nice, especially the bevels. The power button looks quite nice on the phone, too, as it works with the design very well.

  9. 1. Sony has introduced their new line of smartphones, the "Sony Xperia Z5". These have a bunch of awesome, bar setting features on them, including the quick capture, and of course, the waterproof feature. This has really set the bar for the new phones coming out, you see companies like Samsung doing it now as well.

    2. It's really amazing, with slight drawbacks. Of course, you can go under water and film in 4k resolution! Although, there is nothing protecting the plastic lens of the camera, so it can get scratched pretty easily. Also, it is very highly prone to bending damage. Not to complete destruction, but enough to having it in any of your back pocket without a case could leave you with a missing power button. And once that happens, it is no longer water proof. If it's more durable, it would make things so much better.

    3. I'm absolutely in love with 4k, and everything about 4k. To me, this is the biggest plus. If it were more durable, I would love to take 4k under water shots in the ocean! I think that would be amazing to do on a phone, and then be able to instantly upload it (once you get reception)!

  10. 1) The Sony Xperia Z5 is the newest smartphone coming from the creators at Sony. One of its main selling point is that it is waterproof, meaning no more worries about dropping that phone in the toilet!

    2) The phone has a few advantages, but also a few drawbacks. It has a 4k camera that can film underwater because of it being waterproof, but the camera lense can be scratched easily. Personally, I find waterproof devices tend not to be worth the extra money as I've never had to deal with dropping my electronic device in liquid.

    3) The ability for 4k image capturing is amazing, as most cameras don't have this feature. While I would have no particular use for 4k because I lack a 4k device, it would still be nice to have.

  11. 1. The Xperia Z5 is a high end smartphone from Sony. Prices reach upwards of $600 due to both the quality and the features of the device. The camera for starters is one of the best on the market.

    2. Waterproof phones are a bit too niche for me. While I like the concept, the prices that come along make it hard to appreciate. If I wasn’t a highschool student living in the middle of a desert that just recently came out of a drought, my opinions would probably be different. A waterproof phone case is I might realistically need.

    3. I think the coolest part of the phone is the fingerprint sensor built into the power button. This technology has been in many Apple products since its reveal in 2013, and it is good to see it being incorporated well into other products. The placement on the power button is much nicer in my opinion.

  12. 1. The Z5 is a pretty high tech phone to this date because the phone it waterproof! The smartphone was built by Sony and os thinking of launching this phone. The phone will easily go high on its prices because of the waterproof feature it has. According to research the cameras in this phone are pretty high end too. this device will easily reach around 800+ moneys. Mainly because of its high quality and its performance.
    2. My opinion on waterproof phones is maybe in the middle of okay and meh. Cause I would be happy with a water resistant phone rather than a full waterproof phone. Because with fully waterproof phones you have to seal everything you do on that phone plus it just might be a hassle to do. I also can not imagine how bulky it would be to carry I'm would be very happy with a Galaxy s7 with its resistance to water. It's a slim build but for me I would say waterproof phones are a bit too much.
    3. I would say the cameras on this phone is pretty cool. Because I love taking pictures of stuff and with this kind of phone you can take photos in the rain and maybe underwater. So for me I would say that the cameras are probably the best feature.

  14. 1. Sony released the 5th installment of their Xperia Z phone franchise, the Xperia Z5. It's an android phone-obviously-but is around the size of the original iPhones. It has a very acceptable camera, long battery life, 1440p display and is water resistant. Water resistant meaning that the phone operates fine in shallow fresh water, but salt water will damage the device.

    2. Water resistant phones are awesome! My father got a new phone that was water resistant and we had lots of fun taking pictures while swimming in our pool. But Water "PROOF" phones sounds even better. Having absolutely no risk whatsoever of water damage to your phone, that's what I want to see.

    3. I think my favorite feature I saw with the Z5 is it's front-facing camera. 23 megapixels is pretty good, a massive upgrade from my LG G3's 13 megapixel camera.

  16. 1. The phone is a Sony phone with an android OS. It has a very powerful camera and is also waterproof. It has a power button that has a fingerprint sensor. It also has a outside micro SD port.

2.I do not totally like waterproof phones due to how the battery is locked inside. My S5 is slightly waterproof but I can still open the back to get to my battery if my phone locks up or I need a new battery. I do like the reasons to have a waterproof phone but to have it encased annoys me.

3.The battery life is amazing and that also might increase the endurance of the battery. If it can last two days I would definitely try to push it.
