1. The Surface Pro 4 is a tablet with laptop horsepower, and can be used with, or without the keyboard accessory. The Surface runs full Windows 10 and can be used with any productivity apps that you would use on a full size portable computer. The iPad Pro, is just a big iPad. There’s nothing different from that and the iPad Air 2, other than a pencil and keyboard accessory that cost way too much money.
2. My favorite feature of the Surface Pro is the functionality of full windows with high processing chips within a tablet’s body. However in the iPad Pro my favorite feature in the keyboard accessory, as it is a fully capable keyboard that connects and charges through the tablet inductively, even though it’s 170 dollars on top of the base 800 for the 32GB variant.
3. Personally, I would choose the Surface Pro 4 as it runs full Windows 10 and is just as portable as the iPad Pro. I was hoping when the original rumors for a larger iPad, that the device would be a portable version of OSX, but instead they made a humongous, over-priced tablet. The Apple Pencil seems like a interesting idea to use within iOS, but the charging implantation was a bad design flaw.
1. The Surface Pro 4 is a tablet laptop hybrid, the first of its kind. It has the screen, power and keyboard of a laptop, but the mobility of a tablet. It runs on the windows 10 operating system and is developed by Microsoft (duh). The iPad Pro is the sequel iPad to the iPad Air 2. It's almost twice the GPU of its predecessor, a 12.9-inch screen, and "refined Multi‑Touch technology."
2. I think that the addition of a keyboard to the Surface Pro 4 makes it unique and much easier to use. The iPad Pros screen is definitely something I marvel at when it displays the beauty of the solar system, like on its webpage.
3. I think I would use the Surface Pro, My father had one for some time and really enjoyed it. The laptop tablet hybrid seems so unique to me.
1. The Surface Pro 4 is part of a line of tech products developed by Microsoft that can claim to be a new breed of technology--both a laptop and a tablet all in one. It has a 12.3-inch screen and runs on the latest and greatest version of Windows, 10 Pro. The iPad Pro is the latest rehash *ahem* device to be released by Apple, with a 12.9-inch screen and running on the brand-new iOS 9.
2. The Surface Pro comes with a keyboard (albeit a flimsy one), and a usable stylus (by default, I might add). However, there was nothing that I saw, even looking deeper into the website, that inspired me to want Apple's new device.
3. Far and away, the Surface Pro 4 is my tech piece of choice. It's more functional, it's more powerful, and in my opinion, it looks so much cooler than the Apple Tablet Rehash.
1.) The Surface Pro 4 is a laptop with a detachable keyboard and it can be turned into a tablet. It even comes with a pen. so you can pretend it's a Nintendo DS. It offers a new touch pad that can sense all five of your fingers, because you need all your five fingers to reach your final form.
2.) The surface comes with a detachable keyboard, along with a built in microphone, and a webcam... Because it's not a tablet without everything on it...
3.) No. You want to know why? Because I already have technology... I don't need a computer that has a detachable keyboard and a tiny laptop screen so I can use all five of my fingers to control all five mouses so I can win at Cookie Clickers.
1. The Surface Pro 4 is a fold able iPad/laptop that is mostly used for drawing, but can also be used for recreational uses like video streaming and work. The Surface Pro 4 is light and mobile and can be used on the go. The iPad Pro can be summed up in one quote "Erase Apple Pencil. Add barriers." -Stevie Joobs 2015 #100Dollars
2. I like the detachable keyboard of the Surface Pro 4. However, I think the $100 pen you must buy separately for the iPad Pro really takes the cake for the best piece of equipment ever.
3. Surface Pro 4. At least I won't have to pay $100 for a pen.
1. The Surface Pro 4 is a tablet. Just another touchscreen tablet. There are many things different about it, but what stands out most to me is that it is said to be as powerful as a laptop. I doubt it will run games like Smite, Planetside 2, or many other AAA titles very well. The iPad pro is another iPad, but has 5.6 million pixels across a 12.9 inch screen It also has their newest and most powerful processor called the A9X, which from their statistics is far better than the previous processor. 2. The Surface Pro 4 comes with a keyboard to latch onto it. I like the iPad's screen but that's it. 3. Neither. I'd rather buy a laptop or desktop. And if I absolutely needed any of these, it would be the Surface Pro 4. The only reason being it seems more like a laptop and it isn't apple.
1.The Surface pro 4 is just another tablet but with the included keyboard that can fold down.It then becomes a laptop, of sorts. The iPad Pro comes with the new the upgraded screen. Boasting a whopping 5.6 million pixels and a resolution of 2732×2048, higher than most computers. 2. The fold down keyboard is the best function IMO on both of them. It's ability to change into a "laptop" is pretty cool. Although they wouldn't have the same functionality as an actual laptop. 3. Surface pro 4 because why not. I don't really like tablets but that one seems cooler
1. Describe the Surface Pro 4 and iPad Pro? (Explain in detail) (Make sure you do your research) The iPad Pro and Surface tablets are both portable 2-in-one systems designed for office work and light, portable use. The appeal in these devices is in their weight and portability. Unlike a full size laptop, you can hold these devices in your hand and consume content without dealing with the bulk of the system. The main difference that sets these devices apart from other systems is their processor architecture and operating system. The surface as a 64 bit 6th Generation intel processor and the iPad has a 64-bit A9X processor. The Surface has a dedicated processor and graphics while the iPad Pro has an SoC (System on a Chip). This means that the graphics processing is built into the A9X. The Surface as Windows 10 while the iPad Pro has their own proprietary iOS firmware. This means that the surface is a little more open as far program compatibility as it has a full windows desktop. Any programs made for the iPad needs to be developed and submitted to the apple store. For this reason, the surface may prove more versatile for those that need specialized programs and tools. One of the most overlooked difference between these devices is the cooling. The iPad Pro is a passively cooled SoC while the Surface has thermal channels and cooling fans. Because of this, the Surface will have much stronger real world performance compared to the synthetic benchmarks of the iPad Pro.
2. Describe a feature from each device you like? The biggest feature that I like from the surface is the hybrid cooling channels. They are very well designed to jet heat away from the user. The iPad under intensive tasks will likely begin to burn the lap of the user while the surface has airflow directed towards the ceiling. The Apple Pencil for the iPad Pro is interesting. The fact that you can do shading based on the angle of the pen is very useful. Honestly, the $99 price tag is pretty fair for the hardware inside the pen for pressure sensitivity. However, the lack of palm rejection ruins the experience. Once they have proper palm rejection sorted out, the iPad Pro will be a very competitive device compared to systems like the Wacom Cintiq series devices.
3. Which device would be your choice? (Explain why in detail) I wouldn’t buy either device. They are very expensive and I personally have no use-case scenario I could imagine that one of these devices would be better than a laptop. I either need a large amount of power to sit down at a table and work, or I need a light media consumption device. But, my phone with it’s massive screen work well enough for that.
If I were running IT for a small business, I would rather deploy the iPad Pro over the surface because people would be (somewhat) less likely to mess it up. Also, issues would be easier to diagnose due to the universality of the system.
1. The Surface Pro 4 and the iPad Pro are simply more powerful tablets that can function fully as a laptop. Their processing power, picture resolution, and touch sensitivity are enhanced from other tablets and more tools are available for editing and managing affairs. 2. I really like how the Surface Pro 4 can run an actual operating system so you’re not stuck with the windows phone layout. The iPad Pro is really cool because of how light it is while still keeping a beautiful display. 3. My choice on this one would actually be the iPad Pro which is very different from my usual choice. The iPad Pro looks very beautiful and has nice resolution and and responsiveness. What is a greater deciding factor however, is the fact that I have no intention of spending $900 on what is essentially a laptop when I can buy an actual laptop for $700 that does everything I could possibly want. The only real advantage I see is how portable the Surface Pro is. So realistically I wouldn’t get either tablet, but if I had to I’d get the iPad Pro.
1) The Surface Pro 4 and iPad Pro are newly designed multipurpose tablet made by Apple and Samsung. The main increase has been screen resolution and processing ability, along with the touch screen sensitivity.
2) I do like the Surface Pro 4 being able to have an actual OS instead of the previous versions of the tablets where it looked similar to the windows phone. Though as for the iPad Pro, one of the interesting things about it is the Apple pencil.
3) Given that I have the money to afford either one, I'd go with the Surface Pro 4 because I'm a Windows/Samsung kind of person so naturally I'd go with those types of tablets and such. While the iPad Pro is nice and has a cool pen, the Surface Pro 4 can run an operating system which allows for more overall use in my opinion.
The Surface pro is a very capable tablet/laptop that uses windows 10 and it is very powerful. The only thing that I think it is lacking is a powerful video card for gaming and that would make it to multi purpose. The Apple tab pro is out of this world. It has four speakers a new keyboard system and way too many pixels(My desktop probably did not like that high of definition. It has the functionality to use many apps and a pen for precision stuff and it can detect how the pen is position and how hard you are pressing. 2.The surface has beautiful power and it can use almost all of the softwares you can find. The Apple is blowing me away with how much apple is trying to push ahead of the competition. It feels like the apple watch by how amazing it looks and runs. I do like all of the mac apps I can use on it. 3.I am a windows guy but apple is blowing me away and at this rate I might like to use mac more. The tablet is truly revolutionary in how upgraded the processing power and how high def the screen is. All apple needs now is a better iphone and mac.
P.S. Ms mills why are you convincing me to change to mac?
1.) The surface pro is Microsoft's crossover between a tablet and a laptop. The older Surface model ran on Windows 8, but this current one uses Windows 10. The hardware is amazing by tablet standards, but ends up being a somewhat standard laptop. The new Apple product seems like a hasty attempt to cash in on Microsoft's surface concept while charging the premium Apple prices.
2. As far as hardware goes, im a big fan of the integrated keyboard on the Surface. I feel like it contributes a lot to the style and the 'personality' of the device. I'd hate to admit this but that Apple Pencil looks really cool. I think the price is absolutely insane but I think it would be a lot of fun to mess around with sometime.
3. I'd stick with the Surface so I could try and run a lot more games through Steam. I'm very curious to see how this laptop would stand up to many modern games.
1) The Surface Pro 4 is Microsoft's tablet with a twist. It is actually a cross between a laptop and a tablet. It runs on Windows 10 Pro and comes with a stylus. You can have up to 1 TB SSD and up to 16 GB of RAM. The iPad pro is Apples new tablet. They finally added a keyboard accessory, and the stylus will cost you 99$.
2) I like the surface pro because it seems to be to be so much more functional, with up to a Terabyte of SSD and 16 gigs of RAM, it apears to be more powerful than the IPad. This might have something to do with the lack of hardware info of the iPad. The iPad is supposed to have 10 hours of battery life, but everyone knows that that number is a best case scenario.
3) I would not buy either because I don't have the need for a 1000 dollar tablet. I would prefer to spend that 1000 dollars upgrading my pc and buying games for it.
1. Surface Pro 4: This tablet has is a mix between a laptop and a tablet. It comes with a keyboard that can attach magnetically. It runs on the newest version of Windows (Windows 10) and can be used in almost any needed cause. Ipad 4: The IPad 4 is a runoff (but somehow more expensive) version of the Surface 4 Pro and comes with a apple pencil.
2. Surface Pro 4: I like the new keyboard as that seems to be the new main focus. IPad Pro: I like the A9X as it seems to be better than most (if not all) competitors showing that Apple does care a little bit about their fan base. 3. I would buy the Surface Pro 4 just because of the keyboard and i've have Samsung devices and almost never encountered a problem with them.
1. The iPad Pro is the latest release of the iPad family from Apple. It gives the consumer a 2732x2048 screen resolution, it has a 12.9” display, and the Ipad Pro is 78% larger than the iPad Air 2. With displays like this, the iPad Pro is able to create more vivid colors and deeper blacks, making tasks such as video editing and gaming much more immersive. Along with the iPad pro, Apple plans to release the Apple Pencil, making the tablet a much more familiar tool as if you were writing on a piece of paper. The iPad Pro is set at a retail value of $799, making it a very expensive product. Now the Surface Pro 4, which is set at a steep $899 claims that it can be the tablet that can replace your laptop. The Surface Pro 4 is powered by Windows 10, making it an easily portable desktop that can run anything a normal computer could. The screen has a 12.3” PixelSense display which gives it high contrast and low glare, making pictures almost spring to life. The battery life of the Surface Pro 4 lasts up to about 9 hours, depending on how you use the tablet.
2. One feature I like about the Surface Pro 4 is that the tablet would easily be able to run some sort of art program on it, like Adobe Flash or something, and still give me an easy to use interface with it’s touchscreen capabilities. I enjoy using programs like that on a computer, but it’s so difficult to use them by trying to use a mouse, or even when there’s a drawing tablet, you have to look at the screen and guess what you’re doing down below. If I was able to look at my screen and draw on it like a normal piece of paper, that would be great. The iPad Pro also has touchscreen, but it doesn’t allow for the use of the programs I enjoy using on the PC.
3. If I had to choose out of these two devices, I would choose the Surface Pro 4. Even though it is a steeper price, I feel like it has a lot more to offer than the iPad Pro and delivers more that I’d be looking for in a product like these two. I don’t think I’d ever get one, but it feels like the Surface Pro 4 would be the better choice for me.
1. The Surface Pro 4 is a tablet designed to replace a laptop- not simply a tablet. It runs Windows 10, just like a laptop, and can perform the same functions as a laptop. It is about the size of a piece of paper (12.3 inch). On the other hand, the iPad has a larger display at 12.9 inches, and mainly boasts its graphical capabilities. It has about 260 ppi, and its screen is approximately 2700 pixels by 2000 pixels. While the iPad has a large screen and display capable of displaying vivid colors, it is not as capable as the Surface Pro- along with having less pixels per inch than the Surface Pro. In fact, the iPad just a tad larger than the Surface Pro, and the 32 gig model begins a $800- just $100 less than the Surface Pro. The Surface Pro, on the other hand, begins with 128 gigs. The iPad and Surface Pro are competing tablets, however, the Surface Pro offers more capabilities at a slightly more expensive price.
2. I do like the fact that the iPad has a fantastic retina display, which would make watching videos or looking at pictures even more fantastic, however, I would much prefer the functionality of the Surface Pro. I really enjoy the fact that it has all of the capabilities of a laptop, but in a smaller and more portable manner.
3. The Surface Pro would definitely be my device of choice. I would want a tablet that could replace a laptop- they are more portable and much easier to use in crowded situations. I would easily be able to do everything I would want with the Surface Pro, unlike the iPad Pro.
1. The ipad pro is known for is reall good visual effects, it is very slim and really easy to handle. The Surface Pro 4 is a windows tablet mixed with a laptop, it had a pen(which comes with the whole bundle) and it also has a keyboard with it. All in all, I would go for the Surface Pro any day compared to the Ipad pro.
2. I like the keyboard for the surface pro the best and for the Ipad pro I like the visual graphics the best.
3. I would choose surface pro because it can play really good games on it and the keyboard and pen comes with the whole bundle so that makes all the difference. Overall the surface pro is the best choice and is diffidently my favorite
1. The Surface Pro 4 is a tablet that is geared more towards being a laptop AND a tablet. Meaning that it's hardware is powerful enough to do things a laptop can do (video editing, games, office ,etc.) while still being as portable as a tablet. It's surface pen boasts that it has 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, so it would be good for drawing. The only draw back is it's pretty thick, and has is the size of a piece of paper. It costs $899. The iPad Pro is thin, and has a bit larger display than the Surface Pro. It gears more towards using it's 4k technology. It boasts about it's display and vibrant colors. It's only $799 but it doesn't come with it's pen. It's pen costs $100 and you have to buy separately.
2. I love how powerful the Surface Pro is. And I liek the 4k capabilities of the iPad Pro.
3. I would probably get the surface pro, because it's more powerful, its pen is incredible, and I'm a windows fanboy, so my opinion is bias.
1. The Surface Pro 4 is a tablet that is geared more towards being a laptop/tablet hybrid so it's going to be portable but still be able to do laptop things. It runs on windows 10 and comes with a detachable keyboard. The ipad pro is another boring tablet from apple it has a slightly bigger display but barely and it has 4k display but that's not really important on a tablet. If you want a stylus for this tablet then you need the 100$ cash grab apple pencil.
2. I like the surface pro with its keyboard and better hardware. I guess the 4k is cool on the ipad but really unnecessary.
3. Surface pro because apple sucks and I am not going to play 100$ for a stylus and the Surface has more power and is just as portable.
1. Both of the tablets are high performance tablets similar to that of a computer. The iPad is made by Apple obviously, and the surface by microsoft. The microsoft tablet runs on Windows 10, and the iPad Pro runs on IOS 9. They both have aluminum laser cut bodies. Both have keyboard and stylus. The surface does include a stylus but not a keyboard, and the iPad does not include either.
2 I like the 4 speaker grills with smartsound included in the iPad Pro that enhances sound no matter what orientation the tablet is. I also like the color schemes of the aluminum the Ipad Pro has to offer. On the surface side, my favorite feature is the operating system, being windows 10 you can use pretty much any program a normal computer could have allowing the full functionality of the hardware. The iPad pro is limited by the software it can run whereas the surface you can run virtually anything.
3. I would choose the surface pro, for one huge reason. The reason being that it's internals far surpass the iPad's internals. Also windows 10 allows full use of it's internals as you can run any program on it.

ReplyDelete2) I like the surface pro because it seems to be to be so much more functional, with up to a Terabyte of SSD and 16 gigs of RAM, it apears to be more powerful than the IPad.
1.
ReplyDeleteSurface Pro 4: This tablet has is a mix between a laptop and a tablet.
ReplyDelete2.
ReplyDelete1.
ReplyDelete2.
ReplyDeleteThe iPad Pro is thin, and has a bit larger display than the Surface Pro.
ReplyDelete2.
ReplyDelete2 I like the 4 speaker grills with smartsound included in the iPad Pro that enhances sound no matter what orientation the tablet is.
