Programming Languages

What is the best programming language of 2015? (Explain in detail)

Why do you consider that program langauge to be the best in your opinion? (Explain in detail)

What are all the uses for this program language?

  1. 1. Trying to choose which is the "best" programming language is being far too objective with the topic of programming languages, so instead of trying to be objective, I'll be talking about the language I most want to learn about, which is Ruby.

    2. Again, I'm going to be trying to talk about this in the least objective way possible. Also, I know nothing about programming languages. Code in Ruby is "object-oriented", which means it groups lines of data into "objects" which can interact with each other; every programming language is able to do this in some capacity, but Ruby is focused around this idea. It's also general-purpose, so it can be used to code for games, or websites, or just about any other kind of software.

    3. I can't list all of the uses for it, but one of the main reasons why I'd be interested in learning this programming language is because the infrastructure of RPGMaker, the game maker I mentioned earlier, is made using Ruby, and I'd really like to learn more about creating my own games.

  3. 1. I went to Sitepoint.com and they had an article about the highest ranking programs of 2015. Out of all the stats Java or Javascript was at the top or in the top 3. So many programs do so many different things, but since Java was the most popular this year I think it was the best in 2015.

    3. Java is a programming language used to help create and use applications on your computer, and you have probably downloaded it on your system already. There is also a program called Javascript that does the same things Java does just on an HTML platform.

  4. What is the best programming language of 2015? (Explain in detail)
This question is wrong. No language as a whole is better than another. Some are better suited than others for certain projects, but they are all made for different purposes. Some are perhaps more relevant than others, but none are better than others. I would say the most ubiquitous language right now is python because it is a simple scripting language that is widely used with many libraries available. It is a very portable script that can run on arm and x84 chipsets. It is great for quickly prototyping small scripts that make specific tasks easier. It is great for rolling out multiple VMs and computing data. It is not great for software development because it does not have to much to offer as far is visual interfaces. Almost everything is managed through a termanal.

The answer I would give to the first question, what is the best programming language, is mu. It's the buhhdist concept of unasking a question because the question cannot be answered under the terms provided.

  5. 1. Through online research, I've deduced that JavaScript is the best programming language of 2015 due to it's accessibility and effectiveness. "JavaScript allows you to create highly responsive interfaces that improve the user experience and provide dynamic functionality, without having to wait for the server to react and show another page." - (https://www.w3.org/community/webed/wiki/What_can_you_do_with_JavaScript)

    2. In my opinion, although I've never used a programming language, I would pick JavaScript over the other languages due to the fact that it seems easy. You can also do a lot with JavaScript, from fixing CSS problems

    3. JavaScript is often used to create polls, quizzes, and basic scripting purposes. JavaScript can also help fix browser problems or patch holes in browser support.

  6. 1. There is no best program. There is a best program for specific purpose or job, but not a best code overall. It's like if you have a ton of different tools (screwdriver, hammer, saw, hedge trimmer, etc) and ask which is the best. It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're trying to screw in a board, a screwdriver would be best. If you're trying to nail the board down, a hammer would be best. It all depends on the job. But for me, C++ is the best.
    2. The main reason I think C++ the best is because it is used by Unreal Engine 4, which I really want to use to create games.
    3. C++ is used to create computer programs. Art programs, music players, video games, etc.

  7. 1.) In my opinion I wouldn't say there is a best programming language. For example, if you're looking for a programming language that's easy, then you look for a language among the lines of Game Maker Studio, which features it's own language along with the program to make it. If you googled "Best programming language of 2015" you would get results like: Top 10 best programming languages to learn. So according to Google, the best programming language is "Java". I haven't learned much coding but I myself am learning how to code in the Lua language.

2.) Coding in general is very similar, just different commands and uses. Java features most of those, but I haven't fully learned Java to see if they have them. I think Lua has a pretty decent amount of commands for you to type into the script for whatever you want, but don't take my word for it... I haven't learned the language fully.

3.) As I said before, programming languages are very similar in what you want it to result in, it's just very different in terms of commands. For example, there could be a code command called: "for", "loop", and "then". All of these commands can be like this individually but there could be another language with all three of these but in one command that's called "forloopthen". It's like learning how to drive a car. It feels different in each new car you step into, and that's why you gotta get used to it and learn the "feel" of the car before you can drive fully without doubt.

  8. 1. According to sites the best overall programming language is JavaScript. However, if it's based on personal opinion, there is no "best" programming language; just one that's preferred over another.

    2. Currently as of when this is posted, my preferred programming language is C++ due to the fact that I'm learning it on my own and personally thought that this would be a great place to start learning a programming language. For me, it's not too easy and not too hard to learn which makes it a viable option for me to learn.

3.C++ is used for operating systems, gaming, graphics, and video editors. This means this is a prime technology for video games and programs in design.

  10. 1) Because of the rising popularity of video games languages used to create video games, in my opinion, are the best. Java and C++ are the common choices. For the purposes of this blog, I will be talking about Java, the most commonly used as of 2015.

    2) My knowledge of programming languages is minimal, so what I am about to say probably makes more sense to you than to me. When developing the Java platform, James Gosling wanted for it to be relatively simple and familiar. but at the same time being functional. This was accomplished to a certain extent. While Java development is the most popular, in my experience, games running on the Java platform tend not to run as well as they could.

    3) Due to my limited knowledge, the only function I know that Java serves is video game development. Java is very useful for creating apps up to a certain complexity, so many small or medium games are developed using it, as well as interactivity for websites. Attempting to develop a large of AAA title game with Java would be impossible as it was not designed with that intent.

  11. 1.C++ is the best for gaming. Each one has its own uses but C++ is the main go to for most high up games. Whether it be a next gen first person shooter, League of Lag, or simple pixelated indie games C++ is almost always present.
2.Although I still think java script is "better" as its used for websites and other massive spectrum.
3.Java script is by far the most widely used language of them all. It is a stretch to say it is the best but it is used on just about every type of software

  12. 1. There is no "best" programming language of 2015. Programming languages are tools- you wouldn't use a screwdriver, for example, to cut sheet metal. In the same way, you wouldn't use HTML to program the next sequel of the Call of Duty franchise. But one of the languages that is becoming extremely popular is Python.

    2. Python is considered to be such a great language because it is has great readability- making it more understandable to the reader (instead of random jargon, the commands are pretty intuitive) and it is also much easier to learn by a beginner. Additionally, it is a higher-level language than C++, meaning that the computer automatically does tasks like managing memory or supporting strings.

    3. Python is an extremely versatile language- used for web design (YouTube runs on it) along with computing, teaching, and even robotics.

  13. 1. Picking the best program over all is impossible you need to pick something more specific like best at PC game programming or best at app programming but Java is the best general program language.
    2. My main reason for picking java was because it is a general purpose language that is highly used and is on the top of most of the top programming language lists.
    3. It's used in 97% of enterprise desktops as well as 89% of desktops in the U.S run it and 3 billion phones. there are many other ways that java is used too many to list in a short period of time.

  15. 1. The “best programming language is very subjective, but I believe that JavaScript is the best programming language that you could learn in 2015. I’ve researched and found that JavaScript is a good starting point to learning a programming language, and is used for HTML and the Web.

    2. I selected JavaScript for the best programming language to use, because it is a good language to dip your toe into the possibilities of programming to start off. This language is dynamic, and gives programmers flexibility for using object-oriented styles. JavaScript can be the perfect head start into learning other languages, if you wish to do so.

    3. JavaScript can be used for web development, and having the knowledge of this program is usually required if you want to go into the field. Most web pages are creating with JavaScript, and it is able to work on web user’s computers, even when you’re offline. It allows you to create responsive interfaces, to provide a better experience for those who are using your website.

  16. 1.Python is the best programming language of the day. Python is a relatively new and very widely used programming language developed by Guido Van Rossen. It is used for Django and Youtube. All kinds of useless programs use Python.
2.Python is the best programming language because it is extremely easy to learn and use, especially compared to other languages. Because of how advanced Python is and how easy it is to use, the possibilities are far more limitless. Python is also governed by a benevolent dictatorship headed Guido himself.
3.Python can be used for robotics, software tools and apps, and all kinds of useless apps. But in the end, usefulness isn’t what is most important. What’s most important is sounding incredibly intelligent to the less educated masses so that you can control them when anarchy hits, and society falls apart.

  17. There is no best coding language they all have there ups and downs. The best coding language is the one that's easiest for you and you should capitalize on that and become a master at that coding language so that you can say you have mastered a coding language. And there are a lot of coding software out there so there is one for everyone.

  18. 1. I am have little to no experience in coding, so I can't say much about what the best may be. According to the article "Interactive: The Top Programming Languages 2015", the best rated languages are Java, C and C++.

    2. My favorite language would have to be Visual Basic. I love the simplicity and easy learn concepts. Its a great gateway to other programming languages. It also has a lot of platform support, so it is usable on many different Microsoft platforms.

    3. Visual Basic has tons of uses for creation across Microsoft platforms. " So, what can you do with Visual Basic? It might be more appropriate to ask what can’t be done. The answer is: not much! From designing innovative user interfaces to taking advantage of other application’s objects, from manipulating text and graphics to working with databases, Visual Basic provides the tools that you’ll need to get the job done right."-VisualBasic website.

  19. 1. Java right now is the most used programming language, up by 4.5% around the world, and for good reason! Although Java has had bumps in its road to glory when Oracle bought Sun Microsystems. It quickly fell behind other languages, because most of the programming guru's who worked hard on Java had left the company. Although, they released their new and improved Java 8 in 2014. Ever since, people have been using this because it is quick, brief and over all an amazing program to learn.

    2. Probably Java. I mean, it's going to be the most useful, because most of the world is using it. So if I were to learn it well, I could be pretty flexible in the world.

    3) It's easy to learn, has open source libraries, and is free! If you want to get into learning programming languages, there is no reason you shouldn't learn Java. The community is huge, responsive, and helpful! Overall, it's an amazing language!

  20. 1.There is no best programming language because they are all used similar and different but they are all useful in some, shape, way, or form. If i would choose it would be JavaScript because it is on the the top of a lot of charts.

    2. It is the best in my opinion because I can use it for websites and unity and I want to start using unity because of all the different platforms it can be a part of.

    3. It is complicated but it can be used for anything from websites to complicated video games.

  21. 1) The best language to use is Python. It is an easy starting programming language and can be used as a basic platform or knowledge to learn languages like Java and C++.

    2) While Java and C++ are very useful and can be used fro everything. I am new to programming, so the best thing for me would be something along the lines of Python where its easy to learn and can be used to learn those harder languages easier.

    3) It is a scripting language for ArcGIS and Quantum GIS.

  22. 1. Although this is an unethical and really unanswerable question entirely, I believe C# is the best programming language. For a couple of reasons, being it is used for a wide variety of programs on windows, including games and other complex programs. Windows being the most widely used operating system, C# is arguably the best language with huge libraries.

    2. In my opinion, C# is the best for game development, simply because I prefer the
automated memory management is has to offer.

    3. It is used for windows development, and virtually anything can be created within. From viruses to games, the uses are endless.

  23. 1. Almost everyone agrees that Javascript is the most important coding language of today. The internet practically relies on it to function properly. Javascript was designed in order to make web pages more easily created and function at a better rate. Without Javascript, websites would require everyone to install new plug-ins every time they entered a new page.

    2. I consider it the best just because it’s used by almost every website imaginable. It’s great to have a foundation on which all websites should be built from, that way it gets everyone on the same page. I think Javascript makes the sites look nice and organized, and definitely makes browsing much easier with programmable interfaces that seem to be self explanatory.

    3. Javascript is mainly used for making websites look neat and organized, and giving developers a more simple way to create with a coding language. Javascript is used for making sure no plug-ins need to be installed each time something new on a web page appears when browsing the internet.
