1.) Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, showed off his new stylish car battery. Audi recently released their "e-diesel" which is made up of water, CO2, and electricity. Lego builders created a car that is almost completely made up of legos and can run with air at a speed of 20 mph. Seattle teens are hosting a community home for the homeless. A glass-stained windows with solar cells inside has been created which is just like a solar panel but in a windows form.
2.) I think its cool even though the article didn't talk too much about it. Why I think that? Its my opinion, I'm not sure what other answer your looking for.
1. This article talks about a bunch of different issues. The first issue it talks about is about Tesla's new battery they released they say it could completely take your house off grid. They say how bad the internal combustion engine is to our environment because of the emissions. They then talk about a company called Toroidion, and how they created a 1300 horse power electric car which you can swap the battery to. Then then continue to talk about glass that can act like a solar panel and making a community for the homeless in Seattle.
2. I think Tesla is an amazing company because they are trying to change the world to switch to pure electric and renewable energy. They could change the world and make our species last a very long time. We only have one earth so they very much want to preserve it, and I'm all for preservation. (153 words)
1. This article is about going green and doing what we can to "help" the planet. When I say "help," I mean that it simply does not harm the planet as much. The Expo Milano 2015, or Milan Expo, is a sixth-month exhibition in Milan, Italy where countries show their best technology. Tesla came up with the Powerwall. This is a home battery that uses solar power to generate electricity for your home. It is extremely efficient and is able to completely remove your house from the power grid. It prevents your house from losing power in power outages because it holds a backup electricity supply (which would be perfect for hospitals or airports). 2. I really like Tesla because they are taking a stand for helping the Earth, instead of solely selling cars that slowly destroyed it. I'm glad Tesla is using their money for going green instead of being ignorant of global warming and just mass-producing their cars to get the maximum possible profit.
And with 29 minutes to write this blog before it's due I would like to thank my iPhone for reminding me and the fact that I want an A for getting me back out of bed. Anyway now onto the blog topic for this week...
1. Basically this article covers the various green features that are out there to help provide power to this world. The lego air car that drives 5 miles an hour, the $100,000 electric sports car, and the ginormous solar panels that you don't see a return on until 10 years later, if you happen to live in Phoenix. However this article focuses on the new home battery created by Tesla that could actually take your home off the grid and not only save energy and non-renewable resources, but also your wallet as well.
2. Once Tesla got over the whole car engine block catching on fire thing, they actually turned out to be a pretty amazing company. It seems that they honestly want to help the earth, if I had the $80,000 to buy a Tesla car I 100% would, those are some sweet cars that will save you money in the long run. They are a company that will continue to grow as the world finally shifts towards a more green approach.
This article is all over the place, but it starts out talking about tesla’s new home battery. What this battery is actually for is for storing electricity gained from solar panels for usage to act as a buffer during peak hours and whenever charging cars. This article said it was for taking people’s houses off the grid, but that is not really what this is for. It is for making a more efficient grid where energy can be stored locally to reduce stress on lines during peak hours, prevent power surges, and provide backup during blackouts or stability in brownouts. Right now most of the devices on the grid take electricity in an on demand fashion, so there needs to be as much energy producers such as coal and solar power to always be running to keep up with peak hours. Batteries would do for electricity what virtual servers did for computation; It promotes more even distribution of the workload to need less physical resource waste. This article then ran on about more buzzword jargon such as e-diesel made from water. Pretty much it is just combustible hydrogen and oxygen. These kinds of engines have existed for a long time. This was nothing really new. It has never been implemented before because the amount of energy required to split water into two H2 molecules and one O2 is incredible and not really worth it. It is not really noticeable at all. It then runs on to talk about a lego car powered by compressed air, the only problem is that the driving times and time required to recharge are so insane that it is just pointless and not functional. At this point this terrible, misinformed, and poorly researched article lost me, and it runs on talking about more old news such as colored, see through solar panels and alga farms that produce a decent amount of biomass. This article is all over the place and has no real aim. It’s also misinformed in some places. It’s almost as bad as some of your blog responses. *almost* What's my opinion in tesla? They make a ton of money and try and get in every market possible. They have a good idea with the home batteries, but I think the implementation will be small and slow.
1.this article talks about a lot of different things it starts off talking about Tesla's new power wall but it spins off to talk about the other inventions at the Milan expo. These include solar panels embedded in stained glass and a initiative by students in Seattle. These students have made a have for the ever increasing homeless population. They also built a Lego car that can go up to twenty miles per hour.
2. Tesla seems like a really cool company they are one of the few company's out there who actually try to innovate. if its not there cars there working on things like the power wall. I think Tesla is probably one of the most important companies today because they are the one that most focused on a better future.
1. Tesla has designed a new source of power for homes that is just a small battery that could power your house without the burning of fossil fuels. They believe this will be a great alternative to gas, but Tesla thinks that powering houses isn’t the main problem to work at for pollution. One idea they had was to really go at cars. If they could somehow take this technology to cars, then it would really cut down on the pollution in the air. 2. I personally think this is a great way to start heading into a more clean future, but there obviously won’t be one of these batteries on every single house on the block. It seems like a great way to try and cut down on pollution, but there could be much more improvement someday with finding an efficient and cheap way to provide energy to the world.
1) This was a poorly written article which appeared to simply jump around to whatever new topic the author came up with on the spot. The beginning was somewhat interesting, but it really did not say much about the product I actually wanted to know about. From this, I was only able to gather that Tesla is releasing a home battery to help get houses off of the electric grid. It quickly spiraled from there to discuss Audi and then even less relevant companies to what this article was supposed to be about. 2) I think Tesla has a good business running. I'm not a fan of the styling as much of their cars, as they take a five-passenger sedan and design the interior as if it's a highend sports car. Most people would think that is a plus, but anyone who knows cars would realize that means it includes measly cupholders, no center console, and other design features focused solely on making the car light at the expense of comfort.
1. The article is labeled for Teslas announcement of their new home battery. But they go off on cars, and their effect on the environment and innovative traits. Supposably, Tesla’s new home battery will take each house off the grid for only $3,500. The article describes very little of this, just to ramble on about pollution and alternative power for everything.
2. Their idea is cool. I am not focused on saving the environment, rather just innovation and where we can move america in the future. If the idea was to shoot up, imagine what is going to happy to other industries.
1. This article describes Tesla's new power wall, a home battery that essentially will take every home off of city power for only $3,500. It started out talking about actual developments that are going on in technology through Tesla and ten slowly, but surely, it went off track. Though the things talked about in this article are cool, I Would say the article itself is actually lacking.
2. I am actually a huge fan of both Tesla and Elon Musk. I believe that he is essentially revitalizing almost every field of technology. And he's doing it for the better. He's forcing competitors to completely re imagine their service. So I'm a big fan.
1. This article is about the new power wall designed by Tesla. Its said to provide power for every home for just $3,500. They are expressing the importance of making a change in the environment and statistics of the pollution in the air today (even if the statistic itself doesn't make much sense. 25% of cars are causing 90% of the air pollution? How does that work? Would that mean 100% of cars are causing 360% of the air pollution?).
2. I think he's brilliant. Everyone says he was one of the best inventors of the 18 and 1900's. He pushed technology at the time to its boundaries. He was way ahead of his time when it comes to manipulating electricity and science in general... Oh wait not that Tesla. Yeah I don't know much about them but according to Andrew's blog post they seem like their pushing technology to its boundaries and are far ahead of their time.
