Remote cars

1. What is your ideal remote control car?

Describe the features it would have.

  1. 1.) My ideal remote for a remote controlled car would have some kind for a direction device attached to it, whether it be a D-pad or a joystick. Lets just say it has the ability to jump and do a wheely, it would have buttons not too big and not too small that would activate those functions. Lets also way it has a horn noise maker attached, I can press down on a button that would release the horn noise, and when I let go, it would then stop.

  3. 1) My ideal remote control car would be controlled by my phone. It would be controlled through Bluetooth. Basically, I would be able to make it speed up, slow down, stop, start, and do jumps. I would put LED lights and a camera on the top. Bluetooth would be able to control the LED lights as well as be able to make the camera look around. I would hook up the camera on the remote control car to a TV. This way, I would be able to see what my remote car is looking at through my TV.

  4. My ideal remote control car would be like a military bomb disarming robot. It would have a strong claw on the back, and a flat back to retrieve items. It would have multiple cameras on the claw and the base with a live feed to a phone or tablet. Another cool feature would be to add a docking station on the back to hold a drone, again with a live feed camera.

  5. My ideal remote controlled car would probably be made simular to a full size car seen today. Probably mimicking the design of a Tesla, it would be electric, yet still have cool features like real head/tail lamps, horn, stuff like that. It would have cameras for video streaming, and would be controlled by an iPad. It may also have defensive weapons, such as a small built in water gun or something.

  6. My ideal radio controlled car would be a self-fueled, mind controllable, morphable vehicle that could reach the speed of light and all terrain car. I could make the car do whatever I want it to do, without having to move a muscle. This will allow me to sit all day, and have this self fueled car do everything that I need done. But it would be a car, not a robot. This will also allow the world to evolve intellectually, and continue further developments to make life easier. The end.

  7. My ideal remote controlled car would be some sort of long-distance all-terrain rover hooked up with a 360degree camera with constantly streaming video feed so that I could send it off and hook up an oculus rift. That way I could explore and travel without actually having to get any exercise!

  8. My ideal remote control car would be a car that you can control/drive using your hands or body. You put gloves with controllers on your hands and you move them in different directions (the direction you want your car to go). Different movements with your hands are different commands.

  9. I would like a remote controlled dune buggy. I would want it to be a normal dune buggy but its remote controlled. I would want it to go off jumps, drive off cliffs and other crazy stuff. The reason I would want the dune buggy is because I could use it as more of a big toy than an actual dune buggy.

  10. I would want to make a tank. The reason being is because it could go over any terrain. It would turn on a dime and would fire missiles at other cars. I would also add a camera to the front and have it hooked to a monitor. A toy race car remote would be hooked up to it to control it.

  11. my ideal remote control car would be one that is really all terrain. it would have large wheels on it that contained propellers. so if it had to cross a gap it could actually propel itself short distances and effectively jump and glide. it would also have some way of striking itself to a wall or something so it could climb up sheer surfaces making it truly all terrain.

  12. 1) My ideal remote control car would be an all-terrain one that could go over even the most difficult of obstacles. It would be water-proof and able to drive on water by robotic-ally breaking apart and forming a watertight seal to drive on. Also it would have hidden blades in order to fly so it could be water, air, and land.

  13. 1) My ideal remote control car is something with decent speed and multi terrain, not all, but just enough to say, keep a constant speed over rough turf such as dirt or grass. Something else that would make this car even more awesome is if i could control it from anywhere with my phone. Which would mean that there was a camera on top of it. Lastly it would need to be pretty small, small enough to get in and out of tight areas but large enough to see from a few hundred yards.

  14. 1) My ideal car would have something to do with speed and handling. I would try to modify the car by having it use an easy to control remote with a long range. But the main idea would be to have the car able to keep driving if it's flipped over. Imagine if the car is flipped over and it should be unable to drive, but because the body is small enough, the wheels still touch the floor and drive away majestically into the sunset.

  15. Ooh, this is gonna be fun!

Well to start out this "car" would preferably be more of a motorcycle shaped design as it would give it far more maneuverability than the car. Also it would be Gyro-Stabilized like the actual motorcycle model in this video; "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jICGl9jmulc"
This stabilization would give the Cycle the ability to go through different terrains without as much of a worry for the terrain that it is in.

Next the car would be made of a very light weight water resistant polymer and all the wiring would be water proof, giving the vehicle the ability to traverse small puddles without much of an issue. Then if possible I would like this car to be controlled via GPS as well as a wireless remote control, so that in the off chance I lose it I will be able to either track it down or have it come back to me (this parts a bit convoluted but for the sake of creativity, why not).

And finally It would be optimized to travel to at least the average fast paced cycling speed which is around 31 miles per hour, that way in the worst case scenario it could compete in the bicycle lane if need be.

Besides these features I guess looking cool would probably be nice... Oh and painted black! Black would look quite sleek.

  16. I would like one of those remote control cars that was advertised a few years ago for being mobile both upside down and right side up. That would be ideal for rough terrain because the biggest problems for remote control cars from what I remember is they flip over all the time especially on an incline. That and their needs to be an app on my phone that will control it not a separate controller that requires it own set of batteries. Thats just unnecessary.
